The Elephant In The Room project. --What We're All About--

The Elephant In The Room started as a project for my Tolerance 101 class. My partner and I decided to create a website dedicated to stopping the one thing we were both victims of: Bullying. Our project name is inspired by the phrase: "Let's talk about the elephant in the room." Using this title as a way of calling out on the lack of discussion about bullying, we are dedicated to giving a voice to the silenced. Here, victims are able to speak out, sharing their stories of bullying. Not only are the bullied able to speak out, former bullies and bystanders are also able to share their stories. We are very hopeful that this project reaches a huge group of people, and we pray that this website will be able to help. We will do our best to prevent any harassment or judgement that may occur on this site, and trust me when I say that we do not take it lightly. Being a victim of bullying myself, this project means a great deal to me. Right now, there are only a few people that make up the The Elephant In The Room staff, but we hope to grow and develop to be a ground breaking and life changing organization. From all of us at The Elephant In Our Room, I thank you for visiting us, and I hope you join the movement in standing up against bullying.
